A rustic refuge in the heart of the Wilder Kaiser. Innkeepers Esther Ernst and Seppi Schwarz serve regional dumpling variations, crusty roast meat from the wood-fired oven and curd strudel. If you want something lighter, you can have a salad platter. On request, you can also get mountain breakfast or mountain brunch.

Description From the Wochenbrunner Alm you hike along the forest road to the Gaudeamushütte (1,263 m). Continue here via trail 812/822 towards Gruttenhütte via the Klammlweg. The narrow path that leads through the steep but fascinating Klamml is secured with a ladder and some iron clips - sure-footedness and a head for heights are required!
